Handmade Glass Tornado Pendant

This pendant is quite literally one of the first pendants I ever made on a torch. It comes from the very beginning of my glassblowing journey, when I was first learning how to manipulate borosilicate glass, shape pendants, work with color, and develop the techniques that eventually became my craft.

The piece features a warm amber/golden body with an organic, heavily textured spiral form, paired with a large translucent purple-toned bail. Its raw, experimental character is exactly what makes it special—it captures where my work started before years of practice and refinement changed the way I work at the torch.

I’m releasing it from my personal collection rather than letting it continue to sit away. For anyone who enjoys collecting an artist’s early work, this is an actual piece from the beginning of Kraz Glass.

This is an early handmade piece, so the imperfections and experimental qualities are part of its history and character.
