One of my first marbles made with Amber Purple, from the earlier stages of my glassblowing journey when I was still learning how different colors moved, reacted, and developed under heat.
This piece has a rich mix of purple, amber, orange, and transparent tones, with the Amber Purple creating that shifting, almost molten look throughout the marble. Depending on the lighting and angle, the color changes dramatically and shows off different layers inside the glass.
Like a lot of my early work, this marble has its own little quirks and imperfections—but that’s part of what makes it special. It captures a point where I was still experimenting and figuring out how to control color while shaping a clean marble.
