This is literally the first marble I ever made by mixing colored glass with clear, making it a genuine milestone piece from the very beginning of my glassblowing journey.
I was experimenting with how different colors would move, blend, and react once encased in clear glass. The result is this organic mix of purple, orange, soft blue, and translucent tones, with natural bubbles and irregularities throughout that show exactly where my technique was at when I first started learning.
It’s not meant to represent the precision of my current work—it represents the starting point. The experimentation, imperfections, and unpredictability are what make this piece special.
