When did you first get started in this industry?

I started with soft glass in 2005 and flame worked borosilicate in 2008. Worked 3 other jobs while learning glassblowing and trying to build a business. In 2012 I went into glass full time.

What New Innovations Have You Been Working On?

Just wrapping up the annual Christmas request list, fun one off requests from friends, and collectors.

How Do You See the Future of This Industry Going, and Do You Have Any Advice for Those Trying to Break Into It?

I think the industry alongside the economy has it's ups and downs. I think maybe the best thing I did starting out was working with my local shops to create what they wanted and needed in their shops. Developing products that fit their needs while developing my own skills and focus.

Any Fun Facts About Your Work Habits or Creative Process?

Since becoming a dad and switching my schedule around to childcare during the day and glassblowing at night my new work habits are trying to learn how to balance it all!
