Early Dot Stack Marble

One of my first dot stack marbles from the point where I was starting to understand how the technique worked—but definitely still figuring it out.

This piece shows the early stages of me learning dot placement, layering, spacing, and how the pattern changes once everything is heated, shaped, and encased. You can see the design becoming more intentional compared to my very first attempts, even though it still has the quirks and unevenness of early experimentation.

That in-between stage is what makes this marble cool to me—it captures the moment where dot stacking was starting to click, but I was still learning how to fully control it.
