An early experimental piece from Kraz Glass, made during a period when I was messing around with clear and teal glass and learning how to create depth, layering, and negative space within a pendant.
This piece features a bold teal design suspended beneath clear glass, giving it an abstract, almost fluid appearance that changes depending on the angle you’re viewing it from. The matching solid teal bail completes the simple two-color design.
This is earlier work, so it represents experimentation rather than the more refined techniques I use today. The handmade quirks are part of the piece and show another step in the progression of my work behind the torch.
