An early piece from a major transition in my glassblowing journey. This pendant was made last year, shortly after I started working with glass in New York, and was one of my first experiments with mixing multiple colors together in a single pendant.
The piece features flowing ribbons of color suspended beneath clear glass, creating soft shifts of blue, pink, purple, yellow, and green depending on the angle and lighting. The organic swirl gives it an almost cosmic, nebula-like appearance.
This comes from a period when I was still learning how different colors interact, move, and blend under the heat of the torch. The bubbles and other handmade imperfections are visible and are part of the character of this early experimental work.
