The 10mm Sleeved Mini Tube by Glob Ross blends refined craftsmanship with functional artistry. Standing at 6 inches, this compact piece features a 10mm hand-formed joint and a 2-hole fixed stem, delivering precision airflow and an exceptionally clean pull in a minimal, ergonomic design.
Visually, it’s a stunning example of color layering and reactive glasswork. The body features a Blueberry Sparkle sleeve over a soft Secret White core, giving off a gentle shimmer that deepens under natural and UV light. The Parallax secondary color adds an iridescent violet-to-blue shift that changes subtly with movement — a trait that collectors and glass enthusiasts instantly recognize as a hallmark of quality CFL reactive work.
Every curve of this mini tube is designed for comfort and balance, while the fixed 2-hole diffusion stem ensures even percolation without excess drag. The subtle layering of sparkle and opacity adds both depth and contrast, creating a piece that looks as dynamic in the sunlight as it does under studio light.
Each unit is hand-blown and finished individually in the Glob Ross studio, ensuring perfect alignment, consistent weight distribution, and a smooth, watertight seal. Its compact frame makes it ideal for travel or for display as a statement art piece — equal parts tool and sculpture.
This 10mm Sleeved Mini Tube showcases Glob Ross’s trademark approach to glass — clean geometry, modern color chemistry, and timeless craftsmanship.

My journey into glass art began in the summer of 2012, with a two day beginner pipe making class. I bought my first torch and kiln the next summer, working outside in my backyard practicing the techniques I had learned. After moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2014, I quickly found a community of other glass artists to create and learn with. Most of what I know has been self taught through observation. I blend traditional and modern techniques to create uniquely classic pieces. Most recently I've been working on a layered marble swirl patterning. I also make my own custom layered wondertubes.
