The Marbled Spoon #2 by Glob Ross captures a perfect balance of movement, light, and color. This hand-blown glass spoon pipe showcases a mesmerizing marbled pattern where Secret White, Phoenix, Sour Patch, and Orange Elvis tones merge into a fluid swirl. The piece glows with warm undertones of pink and amber that shift beautifully depending on the light, giving it a soft, organic energy that feels alive in your hand.
Measuring 4.5 inches, this spoon pipe is designed for both portability and comfort. The bowl is deep and well-proportioned, allowing for an even airflow and a consistently smooth experience. The addition of red glass marbles provides a tactile grip and a striking contrast to the layered body colors, creating both visual appeal and practical design.
The surface features a glossy, reflective finish that amplifies its color depth. Subtle transitions between the hues create a dreamy, molten effect—like flowing lava caught in motion. Each swirl and ripple in the glass tells the story of its creation, hand-shaped in the studio with care and precision.
As with all Glob Ross creations, the Marbled Spoon #2 is more than a functional piece—it’s a statement of artistry and craftsmanship. Each one is entirely unique, with its own individual color balance and internal character, ensuring no two are ever the same.
Whether displayed on a shelf or used as part of your collection, this spoon embodies the harmony of design and usability that defines modern glasswork.

My journey into glass art began in the summer of 2012, with a two day beginner pipe making class. I bought my first torch and kiln the next summer, working outside in my backyard practicing the techniques I had learned. After moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2014, I quickly found a community of other glass artists to create and learn with. Most of what I know has been self taught through observation. I blend traditional and modern techniques to create uniquely classic pieces. Most recently I've been working on a layered marble swirl patterning. I also make my own custom layered wondertubes.
