The Wig Wag Pendant #4 from Glob Ross is a bold expression of color and craftsmanship — a hand-blown, hollow bubble pendant that captures the movement of molten glass frozen in perfect symmetry. With a Milky Blue foundation and a vibrant red-and-white zigzag pattern, this 2.5-inch pendant radiates visual energy while maintaining a balanced, fluid form.
Viewed from above, the swirling pattern appears to pulse beneath the glass surface, magnified by the bubble’s curvature. The precision of the wig wag linework is framed by a soft blue border, creating a visual illusion of floating layers. Every shift in lighting reveals a new angle of brilliance, with the design glowing softly through the semi-translucent base.
The pendant’s hollow design allows for a surprising lightness in hand while maintaining structural integrity. Its curvature gives it an almost planetary depth, with subtle reflections and refractions that enhance its handcrafted quality. The back features a smooth, glassy finish, highlighting the clean artistry and attention to symmetry that define Glob Ross’ signature style.
Whether displayed in a collection or worn as a centerpiece, the Wig Wag Pendant #4 represents the perfect harmony between technical precision and artistic spontaneity. It’s a small but powerful embodiment of modern glassblowing mastery, designed to last a lifetime.

My journey into glass art began in the summer of 2012, with a two day beginner pipe making class. I bought my first torch and kiln the next summer, working outside in my backyard practicing the techniques I had learned. After moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2014, I quickly found a community of other glass artists to create and learn with. Most of what I know has been self taught through observation. I blend traditional and modern techniques to create uniquely classic pieces. Most recently I've been working on a layered marble swirl patterning. I also make my own custom layered wondertubes.
