The Linework Hammer #2 by Glob Ross exemplifies clean craftsmanship and bold visual design. This dry hammer showcases an Orange Crush color palette that commands attention—radiant oranges, deep navy, and crisp white stripes flow in a mesmerizing rhythm along the handle and bowl. The tight linework spirals inward, creating a striking sense of motion that draws the eye and highlights the artist’s precision.
Measuring 5 inches in length, this hammer offers the perfect balance between form and function. The piece fits comfortably in hand, with a well-proportioned bowl that delivers smooth, even airflow every time. The signature re-wig section adds both visual complexity and texture, marking it as a true example of Glob Ross’s technical control and attention to detail.
Each section of this hammer glows differently under natural light, giving the piece a dynamic, almost flame-like energy. The Orange Crush tones dance between vibrant warmth and deep contrast, creating a timeless and collectible aesthetic that stands out in any collection.
Beyond its beauty, the Linework Hammer #2 is built to perform. Made from premium borosilicate glass, it’s resistant to heat and daily use, making it as reliable as it is artistic. Whether for display or daily sessions, it’s a compact powerhouse that delivers on both style and performance.
This hammer is more than a functional tool—it’s a piece of glass art that reflects the precision, patience, and creativity of the Glob Ross studio.

My journey into glass art began in the summer of 2012, with a two day beginner pipe making class. I bought my first torch and kiln the next summer, working outside in my backyard practicing the techniques I had learned. After moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2014, I quickly found a community of other glass artists to create and learn with. Most of what I know has been self taught through observation. I blend traditional and modern techniques to create uniquely classic pieces. Most recently I've been working on a layered marble swirl patterning. I also make my own custom layered wondertubes.
