Honey bee garden marble

Honey Bee Garden Marble by monstermarbleZ is a highly detailed 3.4-inch collaborative art marble created as part of the garden marble series with @deedleweed. Packed with miniature floral work, buzzing bees, layered greenery, and hidden details, the piece feels like an entire glass garden captured inside a single sphere.

The front of the marble is filled with individually encased flowers and grass, creating remarkable depth throughout the scene. Soft pinks, purples, blues, whites, and greens build a dense garden around multiple honey bee mille elements made by Ryan Mcluer. The bees appear suspended among the flowers, giving the composition a lively, natural sense of movement.

Turn the marble around and another personality appears. The signature monsterZ bee face is created using compression work, surrounded by additional flowers and a glowing honeycomb design. The exaggerated eyes, striped face, teeth, and tongue bring a playful character to the piece while contrasting beautifully with the more delicate botanical details around it.

The honeycomb itself is made using a gold-fumed air-trap technique, producing rich golden cells that shimmer beneath the surface. Extensive UV-reactive glass has also been incorporated throughout the marble, adding another dimension to the artwork when viewed under UV lighting. Between the encasements, compression work, mille, fuming, and UV elements, this piece rewards close inspection from every angle.

Honey Bee Garden Marble is a true collector's piece that combines technical glasswork with humour, colour, and an impressive amount of miniature detail. From its garden scene to its unmistakable monster bee character, every section contributes to a one-of-a-kind sculptural marble designed to be displayed and explored.
